Co-founder Tamar Akov, an industrial designer (M.Des, Bezalel academy of art and design) has been pursuing the subject of Design for the Base of Pyramid for more than 12 years. Since living in India (2014-2017) she is focusing on the realities of the sanitation crisis in developing countries and the need for user centered solutions. Tamar thinks that Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) is the most important global challenge we face today affecting all facets of life.
Co-founder Miki Noam-Alon, is a humanitarian communications advisor with ten years of extensive field experience in more than 30 delegations, both on emergency and long-term development programs. He is currently an advisor at Mindset-pcs, and co-founder of Creatis Agency for social-impact communications. Miki believes that including communities is crucial in creating any responsible and sustainable impact.
CTO Avner Ronen, a chemical and environmental engineer (Ph.D., Technion) has been working on waste separation and nutrients recovery for the last 13 years. He is developing membrane-based chemical, biological and electro-chemical systems for wastewater and water treatment. Avner believes that innovative engineering should be used to improve lives of people in difficult circumstances.
